With the weather creating dangerous travel conditions across the state of Texas, here are the latest game updates for the Sachse Mustangs

The Sachse Lady Mustangs girls basketball team is still awaiting their opponent for the area championship round. With Harker Height High School set to play Mansfield in the bi-district round, the two teams postponed their game last Saturday and again on Tuesday. No official time has been set for when they will play. The schedule for the Lady Mustangs will be updated whenever it is available.

The Sachse boys basketball team reached the postseason and is set to play this Saturday. As things stand, the Mustangs will take on Tyler Legacy at 7 p.m. at Wills Point High School.

If either game is deemed unsafe to travel, it will be rescheduled at a later date.

As of publication, all outdoor sporting events, including Sachse soccer and preseason baseball and softball games, have been canceled. There has been no plan for makeup games at this time and that will be determined at a later date.

Garland ISD will send out a new soccer schedule next Monday for makeup dates. For now, the Sachse boys and girls soccer teams’ next games are scheduled for next Tuesday.

The Sachse News will continue to send out information regarding updates as soon as they become available.
