Sachse Fire Capt. Chris Hall was recognized as Employee of the Quarter during a recent city council meeting.

Mayor Mike Felix, upon presenting the award to Hall said, “Chris exceeds the definition of a servant leader but his most recent accolade garnered him the Employee of the Quarter award.” Felix said the Code Enforcement department was working on a case in Sachse that included the homeowner needing to repair a section of fence that was damaged by high winds. It soon became apparent that the citizen would not be able to do the repairs because of financial hardship.
