Sachse has no “option” as to how it must respond to last week’s 58-47 loss at Rockwall; they must rebound and do it quickly.
“We don’t have an option if we want to keep playing in the playoffs,” Sachse head coach Mark Behrens said. “That’s we got to do (is win). There is no option to it.”
He added, “We are looking at winning some ball games here and putting ourselves in a position where there is no question (that we’re a playoff team).”
First up on Sachse’s schedule are the Naaman Forest Rangers, with whom they’ll clash with 7:30 p.m. at Williams Stadium. After that, the Mustangs (2-2 in 11-6A after the Rockwall loss) play Lakeview Centennial on Oct. 30 and then close out the regular season Nov. 6 versus arch-rival Rowlett.
