The Lady Mustangs are now 6-0 and in sole possession of first within District 11-6A following a solid 65-52 victory over Lakeview Centennial. The two had been tied for the lead entering Tuesday’s contest. Meanwhile, the Mustangs pulled out a huge 61-60 victory over Lakeview, which improved their record to 2-2.
Sachse’s boys are now tied with Lakeview and Garland for fourth place, with Rowlett (4-0) leading the district. Both Sachse teams will play Friday at Rowlett. A win there will mean the Lady Mustangs will have finished the first half of district play having beaten all their district foes.
