From Staff Reports
Students in Garland ISD will have an opportunity to get techy next week at the Digital Resources Carnival. The inaugural event will give students the opportunity to test drive a classroom iPad, see how Fine Arts students are using technology to play instruments, and parents can learn how to take advantage of free Microsoft Office training at home.
In addition to the hands on activities; tablets, laptops and other devices in use throughout GISD will be available to see. Students will also showcase their favorite educational software and staff members will teach parents how to take advantage of resources just for them.
