Lady Mustangs loaded to make another run

SACHSE — The Lady Mustangs will be looking for a new goalkeeper this season, and they also must deal with the loss of Abby Westin, who is out for the year with a knee injury.
Sounds kind of rough, doesn’t it?
Well it is, but even all that rough or bad news can’t overshadow the good news: Sachse returns all of its players from a regional semifinalist squad.
“I think we absolutely have a chance to get beyond where we were last year,” head coach Kristen Campbell said. “I have all the confidence in these girls that they are capable of doing that … It’s nice to look good on paper, but it has to translate on to the field. We’ve got to realize our potential and get the chemistry on the field, and get the things going on the field that we need to be successful.”
