Basketball updates 1-23-16

Both Sachse basketball teams were victorious Friday night over Garland, with the Lady Mustangs emerging with a 76-37 win and the boys prevailing 70-60. The Lady Mustangs are now 9-0 in 11-6A play and in first place, one game ahead of Lakeview Centennial (8-1) and three in front of Naaman Forest (6-3).
The Mustangs improved to 4-3 and are in a four-way tie with Rockwall, Naaman Forest and Lakeview Centennial for second through fourth. Rowlett (7-0) leads the district by three games.
