The Lady Mustangs’ stampede through District 11-6A continued last week with victories over Tyler Lee (43-35 at Lee on Jan. 19) and Garland (76-37 at home last Friday); those wins that improved Sachse’s district record to 9-0, in first place and a game ahead of Lakeview Centennial.
“I think they are really comfortable (with each other) with the different rotations that we’re using,” head coach Donna McCullough said. “Our defense is working really well, and our shots have been falling; that helps a whole lot. Our defense scores a lot of points for us (too).”
