Sachse enjoyed an excellent season, one in which the Mustangs finished 9-5 in District 11-6A and earned a postseason spot.
Once the season was over, several of its players got some more good news when they were included in the 2015-’16 All-District team.

Rowlett’s Jason Busch was the Coach of the Year, while one of his senior, Oliver Powell, was the 11-6A MVP. Lakeview Centennial junior Zhaire Smith was the district’s Offensive Player of the Year, while Rowlett junior Jarrod Winston-Pendleton was the Newcomer of the Year.
