Sachse’s Shanna McBroom has been a solid and spectacular player for the last several years.
In 2016, the Lady Mustang senior catcher had one of her best seasons, and it didn’t go unnoticed by the 11-6A coaching staffs, which voted McBroom the district MVP as part of this season’s All-District team.
The senior, who was part of another playoff team, was joined on the 2016 All-District squad by seniors Mikala Douglas, Tess Gibbs, Emilee McDonald and sophomore Sarah Wheeler.
