Youngest coach in Texas history
Garland ISD celebrated Executive Director of Athletics Homer B. Johnson’s incredible 68-year career Oct. 28 with a celebration at the Curtis Culwell Center arena.
The event featured memorabilia, selfie and polaroid stations, a tribute video, life-size cutouts of Johnson, and a themed food bar—complete with a cake replica of HBJ’s namesake.
