Veterans honored at annual celebration

About 70 people attended the annual Sachse Historical Society Veterans Day program Saturday, Nov. 5 on museum grounds.

The event kicked off with the “chiming in” ceremony conducted by SHS board member Jim Mathis, officially signaling the 11 a.m. start time.
