Sachse High School maintained an A rating with a scaled score of 93 for the second year in a row. Scores improved in Student Achievement, School Progress and College, Career and Military Readiness.
Garland Independent School District earned an overall B rating for the 2024-25 school year, improving its scaled score from 81 to 84 compared to the previous year. School Progress, which carried 70% of the overall score, rose from 81 to 83, both B ratings. Closing the Gaps also improved, moving from 80 to 85, maintaining a B and contributing 30% to the final rating. Student Achievement increased from 78 to 80, raising the rating from a C to a B, although it did not factor into the proportional calculation this year. Academic Growth remained steady at 74, a C. Relative Performance, which compares results to districts with similar economically disadvantaged student rates, rose from 81 to 83, both B ratings, with the economically disadvantaged population increasing slightly from 70.1 to 72.1%.
