Sachse’s Lady Mustangs have been through a grueling non-district schedule, one that included three tournaments.
Well, all that has been in preparation for what is to come; District 11-6A competition. That 14-game schedule tips off Friday at Lakeview Centennial and will conclude Oct. 27 at North Garland. After Centennial, the Lady Mustangs will host Rowlett on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
This past week, the Lady Mustangs defeated Lake Highlands in four games on Sept. 1 and then swept Mesquite Horn last Friday. They hosted Frisco Liberty on Tuesday to end the non-district season.
“Mentally, they can’t wait (for district),” head coach Rikki Jones said. “They are ready to go and do it.”
