Garland and Wylie ISD voters approved bond referendums to support future growth and make improvements to existing facilities in 2023.

Garland ISD voters passed a $1.2 billion bond referendum in the May 6 election with the majority of the funds — $1.1 billion — going toward Proposition A for safety enhancements and facility upgrades. Proposition B covers the construction of multipurpose activity facilities at all seven high school campuses at a cost of $135 million. At a cost of $40 million, Proposition C is for updating technology equipment across the district.
