SACHSE — Mark Behrens knows more than anyone that Friday’s clash with Lakeview Centennial will not be an easy one.
First, the Patriots have traditionally been tough competition for the Mustangs, sometimes beating them during seasons in which Sachse downed all other district foes. Second, Centennial enters this fray following a 48-21 win over South Garland in  the 10-6A opener, improving to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in 10-6A. Sachse is 4-0 overall after sweeping a quartet of non-district foes, and Friday’s game will be its first district contest after having a bye this past Friday.
“They are always athletic, and those kids play hard against us,” Behrens said of Lakeview. “We know it’s going to be a battle.”
